SevaCeramics approach is deeply intuitive, pure, and thoroughly engaged.
Commissioned artwork offers a chance to create deeply personal and meaningful piece for the client. It's a collaboration between my creative energy and the client's vision, resulting in a tangible expression.
For commission inquiries, please reach out via the contact page.
Typically, commissions begin with an email inquiry, where you describe your vision and reasons for pursuing the commission. If feasible, I prefer to have a Zoom call or an in-person meeting to delve deeper into the project. Once we establish mutual understanding and cover the basics, including budget, I'll send a commission proposal outlining our agreement and project scope. Upon your acceptance and deposit, I'll schedule the project and start creating.
Commissions require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Once I receive the deposit, I begin crafting the pieces. Completion usually takes between 4-8 weeks.
After the commissioned piece is complete, we'll schedule a second meeting to create a real-sized layout on paper. The third meeting involves installation, which typically takes 3-5 hours depending on the quantity of pieces. Installation by the artist is charged at $100 per hour.
Please note that shipping costs will be added to the remaining balance.
Feedback is highly encouraged throughout the process to ensure alignment with your vision.
