Commission Process

Seva Ceramics creates custom ceramic installations for private residences, hospitality spaces, and large-scale architectural projects. Each commission is a collaborative process, ensuring the final piece aligns seamlessly with the vision and space.

1. Initial Inquiry & Concept Development

To begin, simply reach out to discuss the project. Providing elevation drawings, color preferences, and design inspirations helps shape the initial concept. For a more in-depth discussion, a phone or Zoom consultation can be arranged.

2. Design Confirmation & Deposit

Once the design, budget, and project scope are finalized, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate production. Timelines vary based on scale:

Medium-sized installations typically require four weeks.

Larger-scale projects may need additional time, determined by the complexity of the design.

3. Production & Final Approval

After the pieces are completed, a full-scale paper layout is created, and images are provided for final approval. This step ensures the composition aligns with expectations before shipment.

4. Shipping & Installation

Each commission is carefully packaged and shipped with:

A life-size paper layout for easy placement.

All necessary hardware and detailed installation instructions.

On-site installation services are available, with medium-sized installations typically requiring 3 to 5 hours. The installation rate is $150 per hour, and if travel is necessary, all travel expenses must be covered by the client.

5. Final Payment & Shipping

The remaining 50% balance, along with all shipping costs, is due before delivery.
